Spam// To Do

November 15th, 2009

I added a plugin to help reduce spam. >.> Spam, in all shapes and forms, is disgusting and not tolerated on my site. So there.

For my organization, I am making a to-do list:

- CL stuff (layout, images)
- Commission: Mittens, 7 things?
- Commission: Asia portrait (Due before Christmas)
- Rabbit stuff for Cody (layout, banner included)
- Pastel Tiger for father
- Summer image for Natalie
- Lions?
- Finish website pages
- Layout for Paint for Paws

I probably forgot some stuff, but it’s a start.

Oh, and commissions are currently closed until I catch up on stuff, sorry.

Terms of use

November 13th, 2009

I will eventually get around to writing up a full terms-of-usage regarding my work, but in the mean time:

You should not use work that is not yours that you do not explicit permission to use. This includes art of all forms: drawings, paintings (regardless of medium), writing, layout codes,  photographs, designs, etc.  In the real world, plagiarism is a serious offense, and can cause you to be expelled from college/school, lose your job, etc.  Bottom line? Don’t do it!

In terms of my own art, unless other wise posted, it is not allowed to be used by the general public.  Most of my art is either commissioned work, or work I’ve done for other websites, and it therefore belongs to said websites.  If you steal it, it could result in icky legal drama, and I’m really a nonconfronational person and rather not get involved in something that can be prevented.

On most of my recent stuff you will notice I do not put watermarks on them. I do this mostly due to laziness, but if I have to, I will start doing so again. You will notice most things contain a signature of sorts– either my name, my website, or my online aliases. The removal of these is not allowed, and removing them from the work does not make said work yours.

When you rip off art work commissioned from me, you are double-whammying, as not only are you stealing from me, but the commissioner. Character theft is art theft, and you will see most commissioned work includes specific characters belonging to the commissioners.  Don’t steal from them, don’t steal from me.

Regarding free art (which I will put back up eventually), you may use this as you wish as long as you share-alike. This means that while you may alter it as you wish, it must remain free for use, so you maynot sell works derived from it.  Nor may you claim you made it. You can take owership of any additions/designs you make using the art, but nothing more.

If anyone has any questions regarding my art, you may message me or comment here, and I will answer as I notice said messages.

College!

August 24th, 2009

I’ve moved in and started college, woo!  In the  mean time, I’ll be working on adding more art and updating the pages. I’d like to get the traditional art page done, as part of my portfolio.

Still here…

August 2nd, 2009

Just been too lazy to finish updating things. I shall be working on making thumbnails so I can put up a page with my traditional art soon, and adding all the other pages.

On another note, I move into college on the 19th. I can’t believe August is already here, and the summer almost up. Needless to say that I may be a little less active on art once college starts up.

… and I just realized this thing is 12 hours ahead of time. I must fix that.

and fixed.

Adding art!

June 15th, 2009

I’ve been working on adding art to the site, and have gotten the pages to 2008-2009 completed (well, 2009 up until today, as that will be a continuing gallery until the end of this year).  The rest of the years will be added once thumbnails are made, which may take a while for 2007 as that was my “busy” year, it seems.

Edit: All art from the 2004-2009 group is up.

New layout

June 8th, 2009

I have created a new layout, and I think I have got this blog up and running correctly. Now I will be working on adding pages and making a skin for this blog.

Edit: I fixed the blog layout. :)
